I find you inspirational, and only wish I could have written my blog witht he same quick wit, I kinda gave up on it after about six months when only my friends and 1 or 2 others read it, and read recently and realised how terrible it is, I am not a writer, I am a drawer, I am a speaker, my brother however seems to have taken all the writing skills I lack, his blog is also great. It may also be due to the fact I'm 16 and know virtually nothing, not that I am not willing or rather yearning to learn, I go to conferences and am about to start my third draft of a letter for a tripto china, where I will teach kids English for 2 weeks, scary exciting amazinglife changing stuff, it's about as far as you get from Britain, my cooshty little free home country, also realise my lackof grammar, I mean I could use the occasional full stop, but I guess I type how I often speak :P I find many of your posts really interesting and sometimes annoyingly true... But I must agree I prefer lists

Really inspirational! I just started blogging last month and its all very new to me too.

I'm always worried about what I write not being great gramatically. I'm more of a numbers person. Also its very confusing to decide on a template etc.. But its better to write something and get doing that do nothing.

If something is worth doing, its worth doing poorly at first!

Hey Karen,
I enjoyed this article. I find on my blog it's difficult to get people to comment. I always try to ask questions, but I think it's key to be commenting on other people's blogs too--something I find difficult to get time to do, but really so so important. Thanks for writing! :-)

Re: #6 "...the majority of people don't comment."

Here are more reasons why people won't comment:

I received an email from someone that said they
do not know how to go about commenting. There
are those who do not blog that do not understand
that all they need to do for most blogs is just click
on the word comment. If I can, I think I will change
my comment link to say... click here to comment.

I also discovered that some people think they won't
be able to comment unless they have a blog. I have
mine set-up where one can comment as anonymous.

Great post!
