This is an awesome post. Thank you so much. I just watched the Gary video and WOW. He is amazing. What an inspiration.

You are so right about how being inspired it like falling in love. We are so much alike, as always. I fall in love all the time – with street names, book covers, coffee cups, shades of color in the sky, blog posts, websites, movies. Sometimes I feel as though it’s all too much & my heart will explode. But then I just accept all of the beauty and let it sink into my own soul.

You are wonderful. This post is an inspiration in itself.

Thanks for sharing those with us. I just finished watching the video and Gary speaks the way I would like to speak if I didn’t hold so much back. His message was clear – get off your ass and do what you love. Period. And “quit watching f*cking Lost!”

As far as inspiration similar to falling in love – couldn’t agree more. I think we’re all looking for a way to keep that feeling alive. Great post…

oh karen, you just made my day.

it’s very rare to capture the essence of something and by giving an analogy i think you’ve got it just right.

inspiration does wonders to you. i have never heard it being described as you have, and i agree with everything.

keep writing posts like these, which rattle the brain and move the heart with so much of your passion – and i bet you’ll be an inspiration to herds of people.

Got to love Gary, that video will get one of their butt and working for sure. Also, I agree with you…being passionate about something can be the same feeling as falling in love. I’ve felt that way many times when I am creating or when listening to music.

Good for you Karen and I would have to agree. Inspiration is what moves us into action. I have a constant “stalkerish” love affair with thinks that inspire me too so don’t feel so weird. LOL

I do the same, with love and inspiration. I have come to think of it in a wave shape.

I love finding things that keep you going with the things you love in life, it’s nice to be “twiterpated” with inspiration.
